L’ARTE DI VIVERE NEI CONI
Tema del progetto è il recupero di alcuni trulli immersi nelle campagne della valle d’Itria in uno scenario fatto di ulivi e specie autoctone secolari. Obiettivo è tutelare l’esistente rispettandone: struttura, materiali, forme e colori. L’intervento nella zona di ampliamento adiacente ai trulli ha una copertura con travoni in legno e pareti esterne rivestite con conci in pietra. Negli spazi interni si ha un equilibrio tra le strutture antiche e gli arredi moderni con la valorizzazione dei coni in pietra e la creazione di inserti tra pareti in pietra e altre intonacate. Lo studio delle luci evidenzia la volontà di creare fonti luminose che si annullano sulle pareti e generano un ambiente avvolgente e confortevole. La zona living è priva di porte interne; la sequenza dei vari coni è restituita da una serie di arcate. La relazione tra il trullo e il paesaggio; la voglia di vivere questa abitazione con la bellezza della natura e l’alternarsi delle stagioni viene restituita da specie vegetative che rivestono alcune pareti esterne e la creazione di un pergolato in ferro rivestito da un intreccio di rami di glicine che segna l’alternarsi delle stagioni.
THE ART TO LIVE IN THE CONES
The topic of the project is the recovery of some trulli immersed in the countryside of the Valle
d’ Itria in a landscape of olive groves and secular native species. The aim is to protect the existing respecting : structure, materials , forms and colors.
The project in the area of expansion adjacent to the trulli has a cover feature exposed made of wood and exterior walls lined with stone blocks . In the interior there is equilibrium between the ancient structures and modern furniture whit the enhancement of the cones and stone creating inserts between stone walls and other plastered.
The study of the lights highlights the desire to create light sources which vanish on the walls and create a snug and comfortable environment. The living area is free of interior doors ; the sequence of the various cones is returned by a series of arches.
The relationship between the trulli an the landscape , the will to live this house immersed in the beauty of nature and the changing seasons is returned from vegetative species which are of some exterior walls and the creation of an iron pergola covered by a network of branches wisteria that marks time passing.
